DatePad is a cross between a calendar and a text editor. You can use it to enter free-form comments and tie them back to a specific date. Use it as a diary, or to track progress on a project. You can search across days for text, so you don't have to remember which day you entered the information about widgets to be able to find it.

The main window consists of a tree on the left where you can browse to a specific date or time, and a large text-entry area on the right, where you can add huge amounts of text. It's easy to time-stamp your entries, inserting day, date, or time information. The application supports multiple documents, so that you can have separate calendars/journals for different projects, or separate personal and business lists.
