There are lots of ways to make a screenshot on your Mac. If you want to actually do something with the resulting image, your life can get more complicated. Typically you arrange your screen, tap in some hotkey combination, and then have to go find the resulting file to do anything with it.

SnapNDrag gives you the power to grab what you see on-screen, but then gives you what you need to finish the job. Rather than having to go and find your new image, you can see your screenshot in the main SnapNDrag window. Want to send it along via email? Just drag the image from the dialog into your message. You can choose how much screen real estate you want to include in your picture—whether it's a selection, a window, or the entire screen. Choose to save your image as a PNG or TIFF file, or even as a JPEG if you want to compress it to save resources.

SnapNDrag is a Mac application. It runs under OS X version 10.4 or later. It's a Universal Binary, so it's good for both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
